Dr. Gutierrez is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst from Southern California that specializes in the behavioral treatment of individuals with disabilities. He founded Behavior Analysts International, LLC. in 2013. He has a Doctorate in Psychology and a Masters Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis. Dr. Gutierrez has provided numerous ABA presentations throughout Europe, Africa, Asia, South and North America. He currently serves as the Regional Vice President for a large non-profit agency based in Southern California that provides services to individuals with disabilities. Further, Dr. Gutierrez serves as the Board President for the Inland Empire Autism Society.
Dr. Gutierrez schedules bi-monthly observations of the children receiving services at A Child Can. He provides bi-monthly telehealth visits with the leadership team. Dr. Gutierrez visits the center at least twice per year where he directly observes and evaluates each child's program. He provides supervision, training and continuing education to all staff. Finally, he reviews all behavioral assessments and progress reports developed by the A Child Can team.
Dos de Jesus earned a degree in College of Applied Medical Professions, BS Speech Pathology from UP Manila. She attended various post graduate courses both here and abroad. For the Social Thinking Program, Dos completed Level 1 of Social Thinking Clinical Training in Singapore and Clinical Training level 1, Assessment and Observation in Sta. Clara, California.
She also completed Level 3 Advanced Talk Tools Therapist in Singapore as well as the following programs; Oral Placement Therapy for Speech Clarity and Feeding and Assessment & Program Plan Development.
Dos continues her private practice working directly with children one-on-one and in small groups at her clinics in Greenhills, Mandaluyong and San Juan.
She is currently doing consultancy with A Child Can for their speech and language programs. Apart from A Child Can, Dos also consults for other therapy centers and special schools.
Jannette joined A Child Can in 2004. A graduate of Physical Therapy from Emilio Aguinaldo College, Jannette pursued further studies and was able to complete all academic requirements for the masteral program in Special Education at De la Salle University Graduate Studies.
Jade joined A Child Can in 2007. She graduated Cum Laude from La Consolacion College Manila with a degree in BS Psychology. She took masteral units in Clinical Psychology from University of Santo Tomas. She also earned a professional course in Special Education from College of the Holy Spirit.
Locally, they have attended a series of seminars. In Singapore, they attended the following seminars; Building and Strengthening Language Skills and Picture Exchange Communication (PECS) Level 1 and 2. Locally, they have attended series of seminars on Social Thinking.
They were able to complete the BCaBA (Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst) coursework program at Florida Institute of Technology.
They passed the board certification and are one of the few Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analysts (BCaBA) in the Philippines.
Ms. Bernardo and Ms. Rodriguez were both able to meet the supervision requirements allowing them to directly supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT).
Most of our therapists have degrees in Psychology and Special Education. Proper training is given before a therapist will be assigned to take on a case. Our Lead Behavior Therapists are Registered Behavior Technicians.
All regular sessions are handled by the Leads and Behavior Therapists working on the target goals and skills set for each child. Direct supervision of the program is closely monitored by the Case Managers with proper coordination with our consultants.
